Alienation from our bodies, from the land, from care, and from each other. Rather than approaching ecofeminism as a single definition, the session unfolded as a shared inquiry shaped by the lived expertise of facilitators and participants alike.<br \/>The conversation opened with an introduction to ecofeminism, tracing its histories, meanings, and political roots, and situating it as a framework that challenges hyper-individualism, extractivism, and the separation of social life from ecological life. From there, the webinar moved across interconnected terrains: how systems of power shape our relationship to nature, how care and reproduction are governed, and how illness, mental health, and survival are produced within unequal social and environmental conditions.<br \/>Each facilitator grounded these questions in their own field of practice. Discussions moved from midwifery and sexual and reproductive health, to mental health and collective well-being, to experiences of alienation under capitalism, patriarchy, and environmental collapse. The session also explored how political and economic systems shape illness itself, determining whose bodies are made vulnerable, whose labor is exhausted, and whose suffering is normalized.<br \/>Participants enriched the conversation by bringing their own backgrounds, experiences, and relationships to land, food, care, and work.
